He is also adept at Complex Joint Trauma, Knee Replacement, Shoulder Replacement and Elbow Replacement. Dr. Jagadeesh has performed over 5000 Knee Arthroscopic Surgeries 1200 Shoulder surgeries. Personal Qualification Dr. Jagadeesh graduated from Bangalore Medical College in 1997, complete his D.Ortho from Sri Devaraja Urs Medical College, Kolar as an outstanding student of the year.
He completed his DNB training in MIOT Hospital Chennai. Dr. Jagadeesh joined the dept of Arthroscopy in 2005 and got trained in Australia, Germany and South Africa. He has conducted workshops for the young surgeons in India and has presented papers in conferences. He has one publication in Indexed International Journal, Bentham Spine Journal for a rare case of Pyomyositis in Spine. In 2005, Dr. P C Jagadeesh’s career started by getting trained under the world’s renowned orthopaedic Padmashri awardee Dr PVA Mohandas, Chief orthopaedic surgeon, MIOT Hospitals, Chennai. He started with treating simple to complex fracture cases successfully.
In 2007, his experience was upskilled extensively while working on computer assisted navigation total knee replacement technique; which was introduced in India for the very first time. Further to it, he has done a comparative study on computer knee replacement and regular conventional total knee replacement. This study has brought up an idea of giving a technology to the patients in Robotic approach – “Robotic Joint Replacement” which gives a perfect alignment of the knee joint which is essential for the longevity of the replaced joint.
In 2008, he was trained under leading arthroscopy surgeons in Australia and Johannesburg for arthroscopy and soon after was promoted as Head of Department of arthroscopy and sports medicine at MIOT Hospitals.
In 2016, he started his practice as Head of Department for Sports Arthopaedic and Arthroscopy at Fortis Hospitals, Bengaluru. Also continued his visits in Chennai as a visiting consultant at MIOT.

He has started the endoscopic spine surgeries with Dr. Mahesha ( renowned spine surgeon ) in performing many spine surgeries with a small key hole .
Many spine problems with disc prolapse, listhesis and spine deformities corrected with endoscopy and minimal incision surgeries.
